Booking terms
Version 2026-10-06
1. Who you are contracting with
By booking you enter into a fixed-term lodging agreement with México mi Casa, which manages the accommodation. This is not a lease and does not create tenancy rights.
2. What your booking includes
Use of the accommodation you chose, for the number of guests and the dates shown in your confirmation, with the services and amenities described in the listing. Anything not described there is not included.
3. How many guests
Only the guests declared at booking may stay overnight. If more arrive, we may charge the difference or deny access. This is not a technicality: capacity is limited for safety reasons and by the building rules.
4. Check-in and check-out
Check-in and check-out times are those shown in your confirmation. If you need a later check-out, ask in advance: when possible we will confirm it, and it may carry a fee.
5. Payment
The price you see when booking includes the accommodation, cleaning where applicable, and any applicable taxes, itemised before you pay. Payment is processed through the payment gateway; we do not store your card details.
6. Cancellations
The applicable cancellation policy is the one shown in your booking before payment and in your confirmation. That is the one that governs, and it may vary between accommodations.
7. House rules
Each accommodation has the rules shared with you before arrival, plus the building or condominium rules where they exist. Unless the listing says otherwise: no parties or events, neighbours' rest is respected, and smoking indoors is not allowed.
8. Damage
You are responsible for damage that you or your companions cause to the accommodation, its furnishings or common areas, beyond normal wear and tear. If something happens, tell us: an accident reported in time is almost always resolved better and more cheaply than one discovered during cleaning.
9. Lawful use
The accommodation must be used only for lodging and in accordance with the law. Any unlawful activity carried out inside is the sole responsibility of whoever carries it out, and results in immediate termination of the stay.
10. Liability
We are liable for what the law makes us liable for, including our own negligence. We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as utility failures, natural events or acts of third parties. Look after your valuables: the accommodation is not a safe deposit box.
11. Identification
We may ask you for official identification on arrival. In some cities this is a legal requirement for the host, not a preference of ours.
12. Your personal data
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy notice.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
